Pre-Professional Division

Season 2025-2026 in Broward

Our Pre-Professional Division provides daytime classes exclusively for middle and high school students. Tailored for dedicated young dancers, this program offers rigorous training aimed at preparing students for a possible career in dance. The curriculum features daily ballet and pointe classes, as well as supplementary disciplines such as variations, PBT, Pilates, and other classes to enrich their ballet education.

3-DAY PROGRAM from 9:00AM - 2:00PM: 13.5 HOURS TOTAL PER WEEK, MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY

4-DAY PROGRAM, 9:00AM - 2:00PM: 18.5 HOURS TOTAL PER WEEK, MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY & FRIDAY

  • 3-DAY PROGRAM:

    13.5 hours total a week

    *Monday(West Davie)

    Wednesday (East Davie)

    Friday (East Davie)

    From 9:00AM-2:00PM

    $600 a month

    $5,400 total season tuition

    *On Mondays, Student Division Levels IV & V are invited to attend class with the (PPD) Pre-Professional Division.

  • 18.5 hours total a week

    Thursday** (East Davie)

    Friday (East Davie)

    Mon/Wed/Frid: 9:00AM-2:00PM

    Thursdays: 9:15AM-2pm, or optional 3pm.

    $650 a month

    $5,850 season tuition total

    *On Mondays, Student Division Levels IV & V are invited to attend class with the (PPD) Pre-Professional Division.

    **By adding Thursday (PPD) Pre-Professional Division dancers will join our Student Division level IV & V dancers.

    1. Must be 11 - 18 years old

    2. Female applicants must have a minimum of 1 season of pointe.

    The Pre-Pro Division has two levels. Students will take a placement class on their first day of the program. This audition will determine the student’s placement in group A or B which is based on skill, not age.

 

More About the Program

Biannual Juries

Twice a season (September-May), each dancer will meet with faculty to review their progress. Parents can join the student. These meetings help evaluate skills, provide feedback for improvement, and prepare for professional opportunities.

Schedule

Classes are scheduled from 9:00AM - 2:00 PM. Each day will consist of ballet technique, pointe, lunch, and two afternoon classes.

Pre-Pro A & B

The Pre-Pro Division has two levels. Students will take a placement class on their first day of the program. This audition will determine the student’s placement in group A or B which is based on skill, not age.

StepUp Scholarship Programs

Selah tuition is fully reimbursable to families enrolled in STEPUP.
