Levels I & II

Level I - For dancers ages 8-9, or according to ability

Level II - For dancers 10-11, or according to ability

Dancers in our levels I and II are ready to work hard. Formal training begins to lay a strong foundation to build upon as passion and grace continue to develop. Dancers in these level are encouraged to come to ballet twice a week to reinforce proper technique. Other classes such as modern, tap and jazz can be added. Our level II dancers are able to audition for pre-pointe class, where they will work with resistance bands to gain foot and ankle strength and articulation; all which are necessary requirements for later pointe work.

Levels I and II learn teamwork and resilience through each class. Teachers encourage students to take pride in their work and apply corrections diligently as their talents and confidence flourish.

I’ve seen my daughters’ confidence grow from their experiences there, and just today was complimented on my daughter’s excellent dance posture.
